Update 8:50PM EST: CIA Jury May Have Met This Morning To Discuss Possible Karl Rove Indictment See Below Fold
Imagine the Twilight Zone Music to get in the mood for these reports. "do di do du do di do du." Seesdifferent asks in his funny piece Vanity Fair: Is Cheney Nuts? Vanity Fair editor Todd Purdum tells us that Dick Cheney travels with a chemical-biological warfare protection suit available at all times.
But Purdum has missed the possible explanation, that Dick Cheney is in fact sane (at least in this regard), and just has had advance knowledge of what I reported last night, that chemical pesticides are reducing penis size.
Penis Size Shrinking Due To Environmental Pollution. (Poll) (Rated R for Mature Subject Matter) Hey nasty estrogenic pesticides, don't even think about shriveling Dick Cheney's manhood. It is protected 24/7.
Attytood picks up on the paranoia angle in Don't fear "the Jackal": The growing paranoia of Dick Cheney.

Update 8:50PM EST: CIA Jury May Have Met This Morning To Discuss Possible Karl Rove Indictment
Raw Story is reporting that ABC News' The Note: CIA leak jury may meet today
Here's an update.
A one sentence item in ABC News' political report 'The Note' hints the CIA leak jury is meeting today, RAW STORY can report.
"The grand jury investigating the CIA leak may meet this morning at the federal courthouse in Washington, DC," the Note says. The ABC report is one of the most popular go-to roundups for Washington insiders.
No other details are available. The report could not be independently confirmed.
Recent reports suggests the jury will continue to meet in the next two weeks as they decide on the fate of presidential adviser Karl Rove.
Rove's lawyers have been told the decision on whether to indict him for obstructing justice in the investigation into the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson will be made within weeks.
Could this be news?
END OF UPDATE
A fairly explosive profile of Dick Cheney in the new Vanity Fair, written by Todd Purdum...will confirm your worst fears, that the man who steered us into Iraq and is now pushing us toward Iran, and possibly a nuclear war there, is a raving victim of paranoia.
Cheney Travels With a Chemical-Biological Suit At All Times
Others think Dick Cheney is paranoid about the remote possibility of chemical and biological attacks on the highways of America. But Daily Kos readers have the inside scoop from my report yesterday and realize that Dick Cheney's fear of chemicals is perfectly justified.
Dick Cheney is just doing what every American male will be doing soon to protect his most precious body part.
I'm in contact with an investor group to explore making a more conveniently sized "mini" biological-chemical protective suit just for the male member. This could be explosive. Just imagine the profits gushing up like the bubbling crude on the Beverly Hillbillies. A county girls dreams finally coming true. I think I've finally found my way to the big time! (So to speak. :-) )
And don't worry folks. I'm not the kind of girl who will forget all of the "little people" once I make the big time. I'll set up a special foundation to donate protective mini-member-protective-chemical gear for all all the Daily Kos reades too hard up to afford them on you own.
I'm not going to stiff the very people who helped me succeed. I keep a list of everyone whom has ever recommended one of my diaries or comments. All will be justly rewarded in the end.
But back to Cheney. Protecting America's penises from the shriveling impact of ubiquitous estrogenic pesticide contamination is not a sign of paranoia, but the kind of careful and even visionary vigilance every man (and their women) must be thinking of these days.
This is perhaps the only sensible report I've ever seen about Dick Cheney's behavior. It's sort of sad that the blogosphere is making fun of him on this one occasion where he finally gets it right.
Purdum reports that Cheney travels with a chemical-biological suit at all times. When he gave his friend Robin West and his twin children a ride to the White House a couple of years ago, West commented on the fact that Cheney's motorcade varied its daily path. "And he said, `Yeah, we take different routes so that "The Jackal" can't get me,'" West tells Purdum.
"And then there was this big duffel bag in the middle of the backseat, and I said, `What's that? It's not very roomy in here.' And [Cheney] said, `No, because it's a chemical-biological suit,' and he looked at it and said, `Robin, there's only one. You lose.'"
This is scary stuff, indeed. For those of you under 40ish, "The Day of the Jackal" was a Frederick Forsyth thriller, made into a 1973 movie, that follows an assassin's attempt to kill Charles DeGaulle (Spoiler alert: He misses...duh). For some men, four heart attacks might trigger a kind of fatalism, but the Cheney effect seems to be the reverse, an over-the-top survivalist instinct -- no doubt worsened by his many months brooding in "undisclosed locations" -- and the growing belief that people are out to get him on every street corner.
Do you want this guy holding the hand of the guy with his finger on the button? We sure don't.
Dick Cheney's First Sane and Sensible Behavior In Five Years
I certainly hope we don't get any of yesterday's silliness about what Dick Cheney is really holding in his hand, and what actual buttons he has his fingers on.
Because, we need to be fair to the Vice President and explain to our friends throughout the blogosphere that what we may be seeing here is the first signs of sane and sensible behavior from Cheney over the last five years.
And what parent, hasn't played this game with our children. The old, we have to take different routes to evade trackers, is the oldest joke in the book for those of us who get lost easily. LOL
And all travelers and corporate executives are taught these basic countermeasures as routine corporate training for overseas assignments. We have plenty of other more legitimate ground for committing Dick Cheney to stoop to these trumped up charges. Greyhawk reminds us, in comments below, that this is how Karl Rove plays the game. We need to remain pure of heart.
But to get back to the more important "dimensions" of this report, how can we get in on the investment side of these chemical-biological suits? This article give us an impportant heads-up on future trends. Maybe this could be our opportunity to break into the MSM. How do we get an article published in Gentleman's Quarterly? After Rove is indicted, I'm going to have to find a new outlet. Fashion and business journalism might turn out to be my real skills. What do you think?
Daughter Reports Mom and Dad Cheney Were Accepting When She Came Out As Lesbian
The Vanity Fair piece also contains a heart warming piece where Mary Cheney says her parents were accepting when she came out as a lesbian in high school. But in what I think is a sarcastic dig, John in DC, shows us the sad reaction of many in the right who are rejecting Cheney for his compassion and tolerance towards his daughter. But, alternatively, this might be left wing sarcasm, I'm not sure.
But again, while I hate being in the role of feeling sorry for Dick Cheney, this news of his compassion and tolerance for his lesbian daughter might actually cost him a sizable chunk of his remaining 18% favorability rating. This poor guy just can't win can he?
High school kids of America: If you're gay, Dick Cheney says it's okay
by John in DC
That's nice. So why are you trying to outlaw her in the US Consitution?
And the more interesting question, or point, is that according to Drudge's coverage of the upcoming Vanity Fair article about the Cheneys, the Vice President of the United States had no problem accepting his high school age daughter as a lesbian.
Spread the word to all of America's high school kids: If you're gay, Dick Cheney says it's okay.
Cheney's Office Knew Valerie Plame's Role Was Sensitive
HoundDog's current diary, Administration's War On Valerie Plame Undermined US War On Terror And Damaged Iran Effort, reports MSNBC saying last night that Cheney's office was informed that Plame worked in the Counterproliferation Division, whose well known mission is to investigate WMD in Iran and Iraq.
Although, so many leading right wing blogges have pegged their reputations and last year of indignation to the preposterous notion that Valerie Plame was just desk analyst and not undercover, they are still squirming and contorting to find ways of continuing to deny the fact she was a key NOC undercover agent right at the center of what Bush himself declared was among our highest National Security priorties: interferring with Iraq's and Iran's attempt to get WMD.
Only she was doing it validly and for real. And Bush, Cheney, Libby, Rove and others destroyed this vital intelligence asset and operation in an illegal attempt to cover up their pre-Iraq war intelligence lies before the critical election. Shameful.
And Hounddog tells us that Senator Frank Lautenburg (D-NJ) has called for full formal damage impact study. The obvious thing to do which the Bush Administration has either blocked or suppressed to prevent the truth of the real extensive damage from coming out.
Rove Watch Continues
And on a lighter note, Jason Leopold is reporting that Patrick Fitzgerald has already written up the request for indictment to the Grand Jury and will present it at his next opportunity. And he says inside sources will give the press 24 hours notice of his press announcement if the Grand Jury hands up the requested indictments. Leopold says Fitzgerald has decided to include obstruction of justice to the perjury and false statement charges.
Evelyn Pringle, of Online Journal declares
Karl Rove indictment long overdue in a long and well written update of the status, evidence, and likely charges of "Executive A" whom we now know is Karl Rove.
the special counsel leading the investigation has already written up charges against Rove, and a grand jury is expected to vote on whether to indict the Deputy White House Chief of Staff sometime next week."
For most Americans, this bit of news will be viewed as long overdue.
Conclusions
I am on a fast until these indictments are handed down. This has taken much to long. I haven't been able to find any speculation about whether or not this will conclude Fitzgerald's investigation or just phase 2. I believe the evidence justifies a Phase 3 to now focus on Stephen Hadley and Dick Cheney.
Even though I defend his use of a bio-chemical suit, he is guilty of so many crimes against humanity, the only place he should be able to where it is in prison. In a very deep part of my soul, that's too terrible to describe I am fighting hopes that Dick Cheney gets sentenced to work to hard labor on a prison farm, as the pesticide applications specialist. (God, I apologize for that.)
